From our DVS Special Projects Group: Just wrapped up research determining the highest quality 'live' video stream achievable when using Microsoft's Live Meeting web conferencing service.
The short story is; Yes it does live video streaming, and works well for 'seeing' the people you are talking to, but No it was deemed not suitable for live video demonstrations where you actually need to clearly see details of 'what' is being demonstrated. On the other hand, if you prerecord and load video clips to the service ahead of time, and simply play them back during the live session, then the video experience is very impressive.
